The hotel is furnished to recreate the ambiance of traditional Galicia: antique doors and furniture from the 18th century with exposed beams from the 17th century manor house, with tannery and 9th century chapel.

Refurbished in 1997, the hotel is the perfect combination of old world charm and contemporary convenience, whilst offering excellent service. The décor is a blend of antique, country and contemporary styles. The hotel interior is noted for its peace and tranquillity. Whilst, outdoors, guests can enjoy some stunning views, with a large variety of flora and vegetation on the banks of the river Sarria, as well an extensive variety of poultry and birds.

This 15th century manor house was owned by the mathematician, Vázquez Queipo, and is now a museum and pilgrim hostel.
